Mumbai-Dhaka Flights To Be Launched By Vistara

The Tata-Singapore Airlines joint venture, Vistara, will begin operating its flights on the Dhaka-Mumbai route from November 15. On the route mentioned above, the airlines shall operate two weekly flights.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Vistara’s flight UK 183 shall depart Mumbai airport at 7:35 am and arrive in Dhaka at 11:00 am. On the same day, flight UK 184 will return from Dhaka by leaving the airport at 12:00 pm and arrive at Mumbai airport at 2:45 pm local time.

With three class configurations – Business, Premium Economy and Economy, in its brand new 188-seater A321neo aircraft, Vistara currently operates daily flights on the Dhaka-Delhi route.

While all-inclusive round-trip fares for Dhaka-Mumbai-Dhaka begin at BDT 24,899, the all-inclusive round-trip fares for Mumbai-Dhaka-Mumbai will begin at INR 18,299.

Vistara operates a fleet of 53 aircraft, including two Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, five Boeing 737-800NG, five Airbus A321neo, and 41 Airbus A320 aircraft. To strengthen its network globally, the airline is on course to ramp up its fleet and expects to take the number to 70 aircraft by 2023.

Vistara is charting its plans to expand international operations even as a potential merger with Air India is being considered. The airlines have plans to increase frequency on the Paris and Frankfurt route and add newer routes. Vistara operates flights to Frankfurt and Paris three times and two times a week, respectively, while it flies to London daily.
