The signing of an Inventory Technical Management (“ITM”) agreement with Air India Group has been announced by SIA Engineering Company Limited (“SIAEC”).
Air India Group’s present fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft will have significant component support coverage under this 12-year deal with SIAEC. Along with its subsidiaries and joint venture firms with Original Equipment Manufacturers, SIAEC offers repair and overhaul services for airframe and on-wing engine components, in addition to access to its inventory pool.
The CEO of SIAEC, Mr. Chin Yau Seng, expressed his gratitude for Air India Group’s trust in their ITM project and expressed his honour at being chosen as a component service partner. The dedication of Air India Group to providing first-rate service will be bolstered by our Airbus A320 ITM programme. The component services that we offer to Air India Group are of the highest quality and reliability, thanks to our network of component shops and joint venture firms.
Executive and Managing Director Campbell Wilson of Air India expressed his joy at having SIAEC as a partner. In addition to improving the availability and dependability of components for aircraft operations, the partnership will strengthen our repair and maintenance skills for the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
