Oberpfaffenhofen Airport is now home to the full fleet of D328 turboprop aircraft owned by NL EASP AIR, and the world-renowned aircraft manufacturer Deutsche Aircraft is pleased to share the news. NL EASP AIR is a well-known Dutch operator that offers a wide range of services, including maritime surveillance from the air, coast guard operations, SAR missions, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) activities, and specific mission charter support. In order to complete these vital missions, their fleet of special-purpose planes, which include high-tech sensors and systems, is indispensable.

Deutsche Aircraft has been selected as the reliable partner for maintenance and support services by NL EASP AIR, with bases at Schiphol International Airport (EHAM) and Den Helder Airport (EHKD). The crews of both companies may meet and develop their collaboration while the complete fleet of three D328 turboprops is undergoing maintenance at the hangar of Deutsche Aircraft.

Deutsche Aircraft’s maintenance support is crucial to NL EASP AIR’s ability to continue operations as one of the principal European operators of the D328. Notable organizations that have partnered with NL EASP AIR include the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex), the Indonesian Air Force (TNI-AU), the European Space Agency (ESA), and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

“The high-quality support services provided by Deutsche Aircraft not only guarantees the excellent performance of the D328 but also ensures first-rate dispatch reliability in many commuter and charter operations across the globe,” said Nico Neumann, COO of Deutsche Aircraft, highlighting the long-standing partnership between Deutsche Aircraft and NL EASP Air. Proven customer and product support allows great mission readiness in difficult, non-standard operations such as border security, maritime surveillance, air ambulance services, and specific mission roles, and NL EASP AIR is one of the primary operators that benefit from this.

To carry out our critical tasks, NL EASP AIR relies on the D328 special mission turboprop aircraft which is equipped with advanced sensors and systems, Pieter Voeten, CEO of NL EASP AIR, said, emphasizing the significance of their partnership and expressing his satisfaction with Deutsche Aircraft’s support. Deutsche Aircraft’s extensive history of customer and product support guarantees that the NL EASP AIR fleet operates safely and efficiently.

Deutsche Aircraft has been instrumental in assisting NL EASP AIR with their special mission operations through the integration of AeroRescue’s EASA-certified In-Flight Operable Door (IFOD). The D328 may now be utilized for a wide range of multi-role missions all around the globe, thanks to this innovation.

The D328 aircraft from NL EASP AIR have arrived in Oberpfaffenhofen, and Deutsche Aircraft is pleased to have them and is looking forward to continuing their cooperation. The outstanding customer and product support offered by Deutsche Aircraft is the reason for the D328’s ongoing success.
