By Staff Correspondent

ROSOBORONEXPORT JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) will exhibit the newest Russian naval equipment at the International Maritime Defence Show “FLEET-2024” in Kronstadt (St. Petersburg) from June 19 to 23.

The increasing adoption of unmanned technology in the planning and execution of military and counter-terrorism operations has now impacted all areas of combat, encompassing both surface and undersea domains. Russian defence businesses have created a series of sophisticated autonomous motorboats that can transport different types of cargo. These boats will be publicly revealed for the first time during the “FLEET-2024” event, according to Alexander Mikheev, the Director General of ROSOBORONEXPORT. “We will propose foreign partners to collaborate on constructing network-centric systems that incorporate unmanned motorboats and autonomous unmanned vehicles. Additionally, we will suggest implementing the over-the-horizon operation concept by utilizing Russian robotic systems.”

The unmanned motorboats Vizir, Orkan, BEK-1000, and the autonomous unmanned vehicle MMT-300, which are being showcased to international clients for the first time, will be displayed in an outdoor exhibition area.

Furthermore, attendees of the show will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with a diverse range of contemporary naval and coastal armaments manufactured in Russia, including coastal missile systems.

The Russian surface vessels, boats, and submarines that are currently in service with the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the Russian Federal Border Service will be docked at a berth at the port of Kronstadt.

ROSOBORONEXPORT will showcase many advanced military systems and vessels at the exposition pavilion. These include the Rubezh-ME coastal missile system, Klavesin-1RE underwater robotic system, a new export configuration of the Corvette Tiger equipped with the Zaslon multipurpose radar system, and several Russian-made ships designed for export purposes.

The Karakurt-E class corvette, Tornado-class fast attack guided missile craft, Project 11711 large amphibious assault ship, Project BK-16E landing craft, Project BK-10 special-purpose craft, Project 636, and Project Amur-1650 diesel-electric submarines, which have significant potential for export, will be showcased to international customers.

At the pavilion, in the outdoor exhibition area, and at the berth, the company’s experts will conduct presentations on Russian naval goods, providing comprehensive information about the features and capabilities of the showcased items.

ROSOBORONEXPORT will engage in discussions with clients during the business program of the exposition, focusing on potential collaboration in the joint development and manufacturing of naval equipment. Additionally, they will explore opportunities for engagement within the context of industrial partnerships.
