At Aero India 2025, Salil Gupte, President of Boeing India and South Asia, highlighted India’s unique market potential and Boeing’s growing presence in the country. Over the past decade, Boeing has significantly expanded its footprint, supporting civil aviation and delivering key defence platforms like the C-17, P-8, and Apache helicopters. Gupte emphasized ongoing collaborations with India’s defence forces, including the delivery of additional Apaches and discussions on reconnaissance aircraft. In an exclusive interview with Indian Aerospace & Defence he stressed that Boeing’s growth in India is driven by capability, creating mutual benefits for both India and the U.S. through job creation and innovation.
