In 2023, she was promoted to Director of Supply Chain, and soon after, she assumed the role of Interim Vice President in May 2024. In her interim tenure, Ferrari achieved impressive results, including the successful onboarding of suppliers for the ambitious D328eco® program, a game-changer in sustainable regional aviation. Her efforts led to significant cost reductions, enhanced supplier performance, and ensured compliance with strict industry standards. These achievements are testament to her unwavering dedication and sharp strategic mind, making her a natural fit for her new position.
Patricia Ferrari brings to Deutsche Aircraft not only her considerable experience but also an inspiring story of leadership in the highly technical and dynamic aviation sector. Originally from Brazil, Ferrari holds a Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering and Materials from the University of São Carlos and a Master’s in Production Engineering. Her journey began at the acclaimed aerospace company Embraer in 1999, where she laid the foundation for a stellar career as a Process Development Engineer. Over the years, she transitioned into numerous leadership roles within Embraer’s Supply Chain and Services division, contributing to groundbreaking programs such as the Phenom, Praetor, and iconic E-Jets E2. Serving as Vice President of Supply Chain at Embraer until 2020, followed by Managing Director of the Embraer Landing Gear Division, Ferrari has built a career defined by innovation, efficiency, and transformation.
At Deutsche Aircraft, Ferrari now helms a critical unit tasked with sourcing and delivering the required quality, performance, and sustainability standards in aviation production. As Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, noted, the success of the company’s D328eco® program and its sustainable turboprop revolution hinges on a robust and reliable supply chain. “Patricia has demonstrated excellent leadership skills as well as proactive and practical acumen,” Neumann remarked, underscoring the company’s confidence in Ferrari as not only a capable leader but a driving force for their future success.
With the D328eco® program at its core, Deutsche Aircraft is poised to transform regional aviation by blending state-of-the-art technology with environmental sustainability. Ferrari’s role in managing strategic partnerships, navigating global sourcing, and fostering supplier relations will be paramount to ensuring the aircraft’s successful production at the company’s series assembly facility in Leipzig. Her vast expertise in global supply chain operations and relentless focus on operational excellence make her the perfect leader to steer Deutsche Aircraft’s ambitious vision forward.
In her statement, Ferrari radiated enthusiasm and determination as she embraced her new role. “This is a pivotal moment,” she said, emphasizing the significance of the D328eco® program and the broader mission of intelligent, sustainable regional aviation. “A strong network of reliable partners is essential on this journey,” she added, highlighting the cooperative spirit that has become a hallmark of Deutsche Aircraft’s values.
