Heligo Charter Private Limited and Airbus have inked an HCare Initial contract, which is a comprehensive by-the-hour services agreement, for six Airbus H145 helicopters that will be used for both onshore and offshore operations in India.
With Airbus’ HCare Initial programme, Heligo will be able to replace both planned and unscheduled components within 24 hours and pay a flat fee per hour of helicopter flown. This programme is part of this five-year deal. Because of this, Heligo will be able to improve fleet availability for more efficient operations while decreasing maintenance expenses and the necessity to maintain regular inventories.
As the first operator to provide ONGC a fleet of 5-bladed H145 helicopters from Airbus Helicopters, we are happy to have the opportunity to support their offshore activities in India. Heligo will have the biggest fleet of H145s in India, capable of both offshore and onshore tasks, after these helicopters are delivered this year. “The H145 is a modern, multi-role helicopter which is suited for Indian conditions,” stated Nayan Jagjivan, Chairman of Heligo Charters Private Limited. The helicopter offers great performance and operating economics.
The Heligo crew deserves all the praise in the world for landing that lucrative offshore contract with the H145s. In order to guarantee the most efficient operations and maximum availability of these helicopters, we have just signed an HCare Initial by-the-hour contract with Heligo for their H145 fleet. Airbus is proud of its long partnership with Heligo and its commitment to provide clients with the finest possible support and services. Head of Airbus Helicopters, Airbus India and South Asia, Sunny Guglani, announced that this is the largest By-the-Hour contract that Airbus Helicopters has ever had with an Indian operator.
With mission capability and flexibility built-in, particularly for high and hot operating circumstances, the H145 is the newest member of the company’s twin-engine rotorcraft product family. This helicopter is able to navigate intricate settings, such oil and gas helidecks, because to its tiny size, big cabin, and flexible rotors.
Airbus Helicopters’ HCare service package covers all bases, with first-rate assistance for customers in five areas: material management; technical support; training and flight operations; connected services; helicopter MRO and upgrades; and technical support. Under the terms of this agreement, the HCare Initial By-the-Hour programme will be available to all of Heligo’s Airbus helicopters.
